Started in 1987, Dental Careers is the oldest and most experienced dental assisting program of its kind in Atlanta. You will be taught in an actual practicing dental office and learn from dental professionals who practice and teach the most current up-to-date methods.

There are several dental assisting programs to choose from in the Atlanta area. Some of them will NOT give you the cost of their program over the phone or in their literature. Don't make this important decision based on a high pressure sales pitch. You will be taught in an real, practicing dental office by dental professionals, and NOT in a vocational school classroom using old dental equipment.

Our lecture room uses state-of-the-art audio-visual PowerPoint™ equipment to make the learning experience both interesting and enjoyable. The lecture and clinic sessions are held at our dental office which has the absolute latest in dental technology, including digital xrays, CEREC CAD-CAM, and state-of-the-art treatment room equipment. Since the class fills up quickly, we suggest that you mail in your deposit at least two weeks prior to the starting date.

Upon successful completion of the course, you will be given a Certificate in Dental Assisting and will be certified in Dental Radiology by the Georgia Department of Human Resources. In spite of what other schools may tell you, this is the only certification you need to be a dental assistant in Georgia and most other states. Our placement record for our students is excellent. We have been teaching this program continuously for over 19 years and our students are working all over the greater metro Atlanta area. We have many referrals from our former students as well as referrals from local dentists as well. We have dentists calling our office requesting our students, and many dentists send us students to train for them as well. The course is designed to give the student maximum "hands-on" training and experience in an actual practicing dental office. You will be taught the most up-to-date techniques using the very best technology available. The teaching is stimulating, fast paced, and relies heavily on individual participation. We are very successful at placing our graduates into permanent dental positions around Atlanta. Overall placement rate for our students is very high. Our Placement Service is FREE to both dentists and students. Students from our program are being offered positions averaging $11.00 to $12.00 per hour and higher to start. Doctors requesting our students have heard of us through word of mouth or through past experience in hiring our students. Our former students are working in dental offices virtually all over the greater metro Atlanta area and surrounding suburbs. No other program can make that statement and reflects positively on the quality of our program. Many of our students chose our program because their dentist recommended us.
